Vineyard Notes
Antonio Mountain Vineyard is situated four miles from the cold waters of Tomales Bay; this special vineyard was one of the pioneer vineyards of the Sonoma Coast. Planted in 1992 in the far southwest corner of the Sonoma Coast, it’s a challenging yet ideal site for Burgundian grape varieties like Pinot Noir.

Vintage Notes
2015 was another year marked by drought in the Sonoma Coast appellation. An even growing season lead to an early harvest of lighter yields. Warmer temperatures in August helped accelerate sugar accumulation and encourage ripeness while the small berry size concentrated flavors, making this another exceptional vintage on the Sonoma Coast.

Winemaker Notes
As Antonio Mountain Vineyard is planted to Dijon 667 and 828 Clones, this vineyard is a study in contrasts. The later ripening Dijon Clone 667 offers characteristic notes of red cherry, tart raspberry, refreshing acidity and lift across the broad palate. Also later ripening, Dijon Clone 828 tends to produce larger clusters with small, loose berries. Combined, these two clones layer complexity and verve into this finished wine.
